Description

The GARNET Community gathers once again, this time in the vibrant and historic city of Kumasi, for our annual meeting. As with previous years, this year’s Conference will be held in two parts: Workshops and the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The Workshops will take place from Monday, July 13 to Thursday, July 16, 2026. The AGM will follow on Friday, July 17, 2026, all hosted at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

This year, we will explore the theme “From Connectivity to Digital Sovereignty: Strengthening Ghana’s Research and Education Ecosystem”, emphasizing the transition from basic infrastructure to resilient, secure, and self-reliant digital systems that empower research, education, and innovation across the country.

The GARNET Board, the Secretariat, and the host institution are preparing to welcome you to an engaging and impactful week of activities. We look forward to your participation.
