The GARNET Community gathers once again, this time, in the historic and resource-rich city of Tarkwa for our annual meeting. As with previous years, this year’s Conference will be held in two parts: Workshops and the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
The Workshops begin on Monday, September 15, and end on Thursday, September 18. The AGM will follow on Friday, September 19, 2025, all at the University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa.
This year, we will explore the theme "Harnessing Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development: Addressing Environmental Degradation and Water Resource Protection", highlighting the critical role of emerging technologies in tackling pressing environmental challenges and advancing resilient, inclusive development across the research and education landscape.
The GARNET Board, the Secretariat, and the host institution are preparing to welcome you to this impactful week of activities. We look forward to your participation!
